You can find detailed information on their website at :
www.hotel-savoy.com. It is located approximately 10 min away from the Löwenpalais-Grunewald. There will be a shuttle-service from and to the workshop venue.

Program
The workshop presentations begin on Thursday, June 19 th at 2: 00 pm in the conference room at the Löwenpalais , Koenigsallee 30/32, 14193 Berlin-Grunewald.  Coffee and light refreshments will be available from 1:30pm outside the conference room.  The Registration desk will be open Thursday 19 th from 1:00pm.
The workshop will conclude at 4:00pm with the Farewell Coffee on Friday, June 20 th.

Airport Taxi:
Airport taxis are available immediately as you exit the terminal at Tegel (TXL) Airport.  Approximate travel time is 15 minutes from the airport to the hotel and the approximate cost is € 10 each way. Schönefeld Airport (SXL) travel time is about 45 minutes.

Hotel Parking :  
Parking is available adjacent to the Hotel Savoy.  Parking is accessible from Fasanenstrasse. Please ask for Parking rates at the hotel 00800-72869468 or 00800-SAVOYHOT.

Workshop Registration
The workshop registration desk will be located outside the conference room of the Löwenpalais and will be open Thursday 19 th from 1:00pm.

Workshop Program:   A final workshop Program with Abstracts of the presentations will be provided to you at the workshop registration desk. Please revisit the program section of this website for the latest version of the workshop program.  

Workshop Name Badge:  
Your workshop name badge will be provided to you at the workshop registration desk.  You will be asked to wear your name badge for admission to the workshop and social events.

Workshop Attire
Very relaxed - whatever is your preference.

Workshop Meals
Coffee breaks and Refreshments are served on each day of the workshop. A Lunch Buffet will also be provided on Friday.  The workshop will conclude at 4:00pm with the Farewell Coffee on Friday, June 20 th.
 

Dietary and Access Requirements
Please advise by email to lindner@drfz.de by Friday, June 1st if you have any specific dietary or access requirements.

Weather:   The weather in Berlin is always variable, although quite warm in June.  Please be prepared for both sunny conditions and up to 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Farenheit) or clouds and showers with low temperatures of 14 degrees Celsius (57 degrees Farenheit).  For the current weather information and a 5 day weather forecast, please visit the Berlin website

Workshop Presentation :

Please send a short abstract of your presentation by Friday, June 1st to Dr. Gerd Lindner.

We must receive your workshop presentation (digital as PowerPoint or PDF) at least 1 hours prior to your presentation .  Please bring your presentation on a memory stick or CD to the Speaker Services Centre (details below).  A laptop computer (PC) is provided. Audio-visual technicians will be available to assist you with your presentation in the Speaker Services Centre and will instruct you on the use of the technical equipment in each meeting room.  Please ensure that your presentation fits within your allocated time. 

Speaker Services Centre :  Workshop speakers are welcome to review their presentations in the Speaker Services Centre.  The Speaker Services Centre will be located next to the workshop room and will open 1 hour prior the workshop.
