Dear Colleaques:
On June 19-20, 2008, a small German research consortium will hold a Ministry of Science and Technology-funded workshop that explores the challenges one faces in the exploitation of hair follicle- and other skin derived stem cells for new regenerative medicine approaches to wound healing (see the program).
Our emphasis will be on fostering
debate and on defining the key problems at hand in a small,
carefully selected, interdisciplinary group of colleagues so
as to facilitate application-oriented future research projects
inside and outside of the existing consortium for skin defect
repair.
Therefore, we'd be absolutely delighted if you could find the
time to join us in Berlin, and to add your unique perspective
to the practical and scientific challenges that we are facing
in skin defect repair.
Workshop participation is by invitation only (limited
vacancies!), but there is no registration fee for invited
participants.
If you are interested to join this meeting, please, send a brief
application to lauster@drfz.de
AND ralf.paus@uk-sh.de
by June 5, 2008, stating your affiliation and specific reasons
for wishing to participate. You'll be notified about acceptance
at the latest one week after sending your application note.
